Students at Foley School are teaming up with I'm Not Done Yet (INDY) of Waite Park to raise money to help Central Minnesotans battling cancer.

INDY is a Waite Park based non profit that helps people battling cancer.

The INDY tribe’s purpose is to provide love, faith and financial support by directly supporting the cancer warrior and their family versus the battle at hand.

May 24th the students at Foley School are running an event called Time is Now.  The day will consist of a "relay for life” style walk, bean bags, giant jenga, putting together Warrior Packs for Coborn’s Cancer Center and also writing notes to the cancer warriors. The public is invited to partake as well!

Building up to the event, students are learning about the 7 mindsets and also watching  INDY videos in hopes of getting the kids to understand that these are real life people going through this battle. The students are raising money the entire month through penny wars aka “kids making change.”

INDY's founder Kayla and her late husband Kyle were both alumni of Foley, making the event that much more special. The students at Foley will be wrapping up the event by laying in the field and spelling out "INDY" for a photo.
