What did you think about yesterday's weather? It was too windy for me, but like they say wait 5 minutes and the weather here will change. I also ask what you thought of the weather yesterday as there is an old saying from the Farmer's Almanac that the weather on November 21 will set the weather pattern for the rest of winter.

According to an online weather almanac, yesterday in St. Cloud we saw a high of 40 degrees, we saw a mix of clouds and sun, but there was plenty of wind early on in the morning as we saw gusts as high as 35 mph, with sustained winds of 25 mph out of the Northwest.

This old saying suggests that the weather on November 21 sets the pattern for the rest of winter. Cold and snowy? Get ready for a harsh season. Mild and sunny? You might be in for a warm winter. It's a fun way to engage with the seasons. Note your weather for November 21 and see if the saying holds true this year!

The actual adage from the Farmer's Almanac is pretty short. It simply says, "As November 21st, so the winter."
