I've been doing alright in quarantine, but my hair hasn't been OK. My roots are growing back and my ends are split. I decided to take a YouTube crash course in hair cutting and trimming.

I watched two 10 minute videos on how to properly give yourself a haircut for women with medium length hair. It looked easy enough and the caffeine rush I had from my morning coffee was telling me 'you can do anything, you got this girl.'

I walked into the bathroom, jumped in the shower and thought about it some more. The longer I thought about it, the more confidence I got. I mean, it's just hair, right? It'll grow back.

I brushed through my tangled wet mess, grabbed the sheers and make the first cut. I was like, 'woah, this is super easy.' And then, it came time to do the other side.

OH MY LANTA, the other side?! Listen, if you've ever tried to hang a photo on the wall and make it equal distance from your other wall art, THAT is 50 times EASIER than trying to even out both sides of your hair.

It took me an hour and a half and 2-3 inches later to make my 'little trim' look somewhat even. Listen, learn from my mistakes and just wait out the coronavirus to get your hair done. It's not worth it.

I mean, from the photo my hair doesn't look TERRIBLE, but trust me friend, it is terrible. It is not good. At this point, I'm done with it...no one can see me right now anyway.
