Fresh snow across the area will be followed by a blast of Arctic air today and tomorrow, bringing the coldest temperatures to the area in three years along with dangerous wind chills -- prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Wind Chill Warning for much of Minnesota.

The Wind Chill Warning is in effect from Noon today through Noon Sunday. Expect wind chills between -25˚ and -45˚, with the most dangerous wind chills occurring around 2 AM Sunday morning. Dangerously cold wind chills can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as ten minutes.
