Cathedral’s Season Ends, Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake Advance to Title Game

The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (21-7-2) saw their season come to an end today, losing in the semifinals to #1 Hermantown (28-1-1) 6-5 in overtime. Hermantown will face Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake (23-6-1) for the Class A Boys Hockey Championship tomorrow at Noon at the Xcel Energy Center.

This was St. Cloud Cathedral's second straight appearance in the state tournament and eighth overall. This year is the first ever appearance by the Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake Moose.
