Blake Shelton's 2018 Hallmark Channel Christmas movie is getting a sequel. The country star is producing Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, a new made-for-TV film, for this holiday season.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Lucas Bryant and Alison Sweeney will star in Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, which finds the recently widowed Katherine (Sweeney) and her son Will returning to her Virginia hometown for Christmas. On the train there, the mother and son meet Jack (Bryant), a veteran on a journey of his own, and after learning that they're both headed to the same place, the two get to know each other while they volunteer for a local Christmas dance that raises money for military families.

However, Katherine is struggling to move past her husband's death, and Jack has his own reasons for being in town. As the holiday nears, though, the two find a connection.

Time for You to Come Home for Christmas follow's 2018's Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas, which stars Josh Henderson and Megan Park. That movie is based on Shelton's 2012 song "Time for Me to Come Home," from his 2012 holiday album, Cheers, It's Christmas.

Shelton wrote the song "Time for Me to Come Home" with his mother, Dorothy Shackleford, who also published a book titled Time for Me to Come Home in 2013. Shackleford sings on the song as well.

Time for You to Come Home for Christmas will premiere on Dec. 6 at 9PM ET on the Hallmark Channel.
