The Minnesota man set to be on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette won't be getting the final rose like we all hoped. In fact, according to reports, the young man won't be on the show at all.

Back in March, the cast for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, featuring franchise regular Clare Crawley, was announced and to our surprise, there was a cast member from right here in Minnesota! Little information was given at that time but we did learn the man's name is Josh, he is 31 years old and he hails from the Twin Cities area.

Bachelor franchise guru Reality Steve tweeted something interesting on Thursday (August 27th). According to his tweet, Josh isn't going to even be featured on the show at all, reporting that a bunch of the original cast came together to make an Instagram account of their adventures and Josh is a part of it. The premise of the account is to poke fun of themselves not making it on the show after being cast and all the things they are doing instead.

Since the cast was announced, there has been a lot of drama with the upcoming season of the show. The pandemic put a halt on production and according to rumors, the lead fell in love with someone so fast they had to bring in someone else to be the Bachelorette. We will have to see what happens when the season airs in October but in the meantime, it looks like we will have to find someone else to root for.

Hmmm. I have a lot of questions about this. Why isn't he on the show if he was cast? There are so many questions about this season that are unanswered to us all but this is a huge bummer since it is always fun to have someone from Minnesota on the show!

Recently, our former Bachelorette from Minnesota, Becca Kufrin, split from her final pick. We need another Minnesota contestant stat!
