25 Ways You Know It’s Finally Christmas Time In Minnesota
I love Christmas and I love watching it makes its way in to the stores and neighborhoods this time of year.
The holidays have been going on for awhile now but I feel like everything is coming together for an awesome Christmas. Here's a few ways I can tell:
- There are crowds everywhere from the post office to the mall to the coffee shop
- The Christmas sales are out in full force
- There are all kinds of local holiday performances
- You have that one friend who brags about being done with their holiday shopping at the end of November
- Smell your neighbor's delicious baking outside your own house
- Parents with young kids going in and out of the garage hiding gifts
- Young kids sneaking in the garage to find said presents
- Carolers coming to your door to spread Christmas cheer
- People start dressing their pets up as Santa and elves
- Can't find sprinkles at the grocery store
- Giant wreaths make their way to the outside of the malls
- People are a bit more rude and pushy
- People belting out Christmas songs in the car next to you (yes, that's me!)
- Tons of delicious baked goods make their way in to the break room at work
- Parking lots look more like race tracks since everyone is in a hurry
- Christmas lights are everywhere
- Santa starts hanging out at the mall
- You have one co-worker/friend who has an absolute freak out because they've been waiting for Christmas since July
