Excitement Builds For Vikings’ Throwback And Winter Jerseys

It's hard to believe, but the Vikings will be back on TV soon. If you are a fan of the purple and gold, you'll be happy to know that the team will wear their 'throwback' jerseys twice this year, as well as go all white for another winter warrior game in 2025. Here's what we know about the special jersey games for the 2025 Minnesota Vikings home games.

So Nice They Are Wearing Them Twice

The Minnesota Vikings today announced that they will wear their throwback jerseys twice this season at home, with the Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons being the first time, and then again against the Green Bay Packers during Week 18.

The Vikings Will Also Be BRR-inging Back The Winter Warrior

On Christmas Day, the Vikings will be hosting the Detroit Lions, last year's NFC North winner, at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings will opt for a winter white out jersey, where the helmet, pants, and jersey are all white, along with silver trim around the numbers and on the sleeve striping. In previous years, the winter warrior jersey package also featured a white endzone, with purple near the out-of-bounds lines.  

The winter warrior package looks sharp, and fans seemed to buy up that merchandise, which makes sense that the team is bringing it back again this year.
