2 Monster Truck Shows Coming to Sauk Rapids in June

I've got a three year old at home who loves all things monster trucks. He could sit and play with his Monster Jam trucks all day long if I let him.

If you've got someone at home that also loves monster trucks, you totally need to bring them to this event. Minnesota Monster Truck Madness III is coming to Sauk Rapids at the Granite City Motor Park on Friday, June 18 at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 19 at 5 p.m. (I love that they've got an earlier time slot for the younger kids.)

The event features 'six of the baddest monster trucks in the country' according to the official Facebook event page. This is awesome because you don't have to travel very far to see some really neat trucks that 'run with the big boys including Monster Jam.'

One thing I love about this event is that it's outside at an outdoor track. That's awesome for several reasons. The first being, it doesn't seem as loud because the sound can get out into the open space. Also, summer nights are rare in Minnesota so it's great to be able to enjoy them to the fullest and not be stuck inside.

Tickets are $20 for adults 15 and older. Kids 14 and under cost $10 per ticket. They're on-sale now through My Race Pass.

Granite City Speedway is located at 2540 Golden Spike Road Northeast in Sauk Rapids.
