It’s amazing when you think about all the great country music that has been created over the last 40 years. Some of those songs we know all the words to, and it’s hard to believe that we’ve had the words of those songs memorized, some of us, ever since we can remember.   1. HIGHWAYMAN - Released May 6th, 1985 by: Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings. The album featured the hit single ‘Highwayman,’ which reached number 1 on the US Country charts. Highwayman has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

 

2. WHY NOT ME - Released October 15th, 1984 by The Judds: Wynonna & the late Naomi Judd. The album reached number 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and is certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA.
