Winter Storm Watch Issued for Central Minnesota

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for central and southern Minnesota (including Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, & Mille Lacs Counties) in effect from Friday evening through late Saturday night.

Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches are possible across central and west central Minnesota. Total ice accumulations of two tenths to three tenths of an inch are possible across south central Minnesota.

From the National Weather Service this morning: A significant winter storm Friday night into Saturday evening could include all precipitation types, strong winds, and blizzard conditions.
