Wind Advisory Today

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory in effect through 10 PM tonight for a large part of western, southern and central Minnesota, including Stearns County.

Strong and gusty northwest winds will occur this afternoon and evening. Expect sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
