What To Hand Out For Trick or Treaters – I’m New At This [POLL]

After living on the lake for years, we finally live in the city. What should I be handing out when the kids come by to trick or treat?

When you live on a lake in a rural area, you don't get trick or treaters. If we wanted to participate in Halloween, it was generally head out to a party or the bar. This year we live in Sartell in a neighborhood and there's a 100% guarantee that we'll be bombarded by kids on Halloween.

I know the basics - have your light on, and Halloween decorations on the porch if you want kids to come to your door. Is there something special that I should be doing with the treats I hand out, or is it the same as the old days with handing out a bunch of various mini candy? Should I have a costume on when I answer the door? I never realized there's a lot to think of!
