What Things Do You Pretend To Hate But Secretly Love?
I'm obsessed with watching Big Brother on CBS--it's my current addiction. It definitely isn't the type of show that I know my fiance wouldn't like watching, so I DVR it and watch it when he's not home.
He came home early the other night when I was watching it, sat down on the couch next to me and started surfing the internet on his phone. Then, I noticed he started paying a little attention to the show because he kept making snide comments about it. I told him he didn't have to watch it with me, but he kept watching it.
Well, last night he reminded me that there was a new episode of Big Brother that I had DVR'd that I hadn't watched yet. I told him that I knew I had a new show to watch but I was planning to watch it when he wasn't home. He said he didn't mind doing something else while I watched the show. So, I curled up on the couch with my blanket and pillow and started the show. I noticed that my fiance didn't get up to go do something else. He was on the couch watching the new show with me.
I think he secretly likes watching Big Brother with me, but he pretends that he hates it. He uses me as an excuse for why he knows about the show at all when talking to other people.
Is there something you do in your relationship that you pretend to hate but secretly love? I feel like this applies to guys way more than it does girls. Ladies, does your man pretend to hate something that you know he secretly loves?
