Weather Service Issues Flood Watch
In advance of what is expected to be nearly continuous rainfall tonight through Wednesday, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for a large portion of Central Minnesota, in effect from Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning.
Widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected, with a swath of 5 to 6 inches possible from south central and east Central Minnesota to west central Wisconsin.
From the National Weather Service this evening: Rain will begin tonight and last into Wednesday. Be careful of flooding. Turn around, don't drown!
