The Minnesota Vikings are reporting that safety Anthony Harris has signed his one-year franchise-player contract for more than $11 million. Harris has had nine interceptions over the last two seasons.

The Vikings and Harris will now try to hammer out a long term deal before the league deadline on July 15th.

Minnesota signed Harris in 2015 as an undrafted free agent from the University of Virginia.

Preseason Dates & Times Revealed

Last week the Vikings announced their 2020 preseason opponents, and now they have revealed the dates and times for those games.

  • Friday, Aug. 14: vs. Houston Texans (7:00 PM CT)
  • Friday, Aug. 21: at Cincinnati Bengals (6:00 PM CT)
  • Sunday, Aug 30: at Cleveland Browns (3:00 PM CT)
  • Thursday, Sept. 3: vs. Seattle Seahawks (7:00 PM CT)

The Vikings open the regular season on Sunday, September 13th at home against the Green Bay Packers.
