UPDATE: Tornado Watch Cancelled for Stearns, Benton Counties

The National Weather Service has cancelled the Tornado Watch for Stearns & Benton counties. The rest of the area remains under the Tornado Watch until 10 PM. There were reports of a tornado touchdown in the Zimmerman area around 5:30 this evening.

From the National Weather Service this afternoon:  In the wake of the front, very strong westerly winds will develop and last through Tuesday. Gusts over 50 mph are possible, especially in western Minnesota prompting the NWS to issue Wind Advisories and High Wind Watches..
