A Tornado Watch is in effect until 10 pm tonight for portions of western and central Minnesota, designated as a 'Particularly Dangerous Situation' by the NWS.
The National Weather Service has cancelled the Tornado Watch for Stearns & Benton counties. The rest of the area remains under the Tornado Watch until 10 PM. There were reports of a tornado touchdown in the Zimmerman area around 5:30 this evening.
