Tornado Watch Issued for Central Minnesota

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for most of the southern half of Minnesota in effect until 10 PM -- including Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne counties. Stay tuned to 98.1 for any updates or warnings.

From the National Weather Service this afternoon:  Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind and possibly a brief tornado are possible later this afternoon and evening. Westerly winds will gust near 50 mph as a cold front passes through later today.
