Welcome to Minnesota, where winter lasts forever. It is the last week of February, and we have a solid month, month and a half of cold, snow, and even maybe an unexpected blizzard or two. Luckily the weather has been a little bit warmer as of late, but it still isn't "nice" outside. So what do you do when the weather is bad, and the kids have energy to burn?

There is a Tropical Adventure themed indoor playground just an hour drive from the St. Cloud area your kids are going to go nuts for. This epic playground is located at the Shoreview Community Center:

Come crawl through the caves, swing through the jungle, slip down the waterfall slide, and scream down the five-level spiral slide!

The daily rate for play is $6 for kids ages 1 through 10 and you can get a coupon book rate of $54 for 10 daily admission passes. The indoor park is open Monday - Saturday 8 am to 8 pm, and Sundays 8 am to 6 pm.

The tropical fun doesn't stop there either. The Shoreview Community Center also has Bamboo Bay, a large aquatic play area idea for kids up to 10 years old. And for the older kids there is the Tropics Waterpark and Shipwreck beach, complete with pool, water slide, floating creatures, and water walk.

Waterpark admission is $10.25 for kids 1 - 17, and $11.25 for adults. All the admission pricing for both the playground and water park can be found here. The next time everyone needs a break from being stuck inside this would be a great solution.
