Survey Shows What Minnesotans Plan on Buying for Christmas
The 15th annual St. Thomas Holiday Spending Survey is out, and it looks like Minnesotans are poised to spend at record levels on Christmas 2016. Here's what we said we're giving for gifts this year.

- Entertainment products (recorded music and movies)
- Toys and hobbies
- Computer-related
- Sporting goods
- Cell or mobile phones
- Consumer electronics
- Furniture/furnishings
- Jewelry
- Video game-related
Minnesotans were asked to list two stores and two websites where they planned to shop. Among stores, the five most popular were Target, Macy's, Kohl’s, Herberger's and Best Buy. As for websites, the five most popular were Amazon, Target, eBay, Macy's and Best Buy.
