Reba McEntire is a very talented lady singer. Songwriter, actress and record producer born March 28, 1955 she turns 62 this month. Her Alma mater is Southeastern Oklahoma State University, active in the entertainment business since 1975. Married twice, first to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987, in 1989 she married Narvel Blackstock, they divorced in 2015. From her second marriage, she inherited three step children and then gave birth to a son, Shelby McEntire-Blackstock, in February 1990.

Narvel Blockstock was her manager when they married and a former steel guitar player. McEntire’s stepson Brandon Blackstock is married to singer Kelly Clarkson.
McEntire hits include “How Blue,” “Somebody Should Leave,” “Cathy’s Clown,” “I Know How he Feels” and “The Night the Light Went out in Georgia.” She was discovered by Red Steagall when she sang the National Anthem at the Rodeo finals in Oklahoma City in 1974. She first worked on the Grand Ole Opry in 1977, became a member in 1985. McEntire acted in the 1990 movie Tremors and worked in Television and won several CMA and Entertainer of the Year Awards.
