The Starlite Drive-In in Litchfield, Minnesota announced they'll be opening for the season this weekend! Pack your blankets, your folding chairs and a few of your closest friends--because it's about to be on!

Opening day is set for Friday, April 16th! The drive-in has two screens and will be showing a few different movies.

Screen one will feature "Tom & Jerry", a great movies for the kids. The second feature on screen one will be "Godzilla Vs. Kong". According to the Starlite Drive-In's official Facebook page, it's the number one movie in the country right now.

On the second screen they're showing a few movies that are better suited for the older crowds. The first film will be 'Nobody'. It's an action thriller that's rated 'R'. The second feature will be 'Freaky' which is a horror/comedy that's rated 'R'.

The first features will start at around 8:45 p.m. The second movies will start immediately following the first features.

The outdoor theater accepts cash, checks and credit cards at the box office and concession stands. According to their website, your ticket gains you access to both features on the screen listed on your ticket stub.

According to their website, the snack bar features the 'usual movie theatre fare' and also snack mini donuts, pretzels, hot dogs and nachos.

Admission is $8 for adults 13 years and older. Kids between 5 and 12 are $4. Children 4 and under are free.

Starlite Drive-In is located at 28264 South Sibley Avenue in Litchfield.
