In the middle of a corn field in Stearns County, just south of St. Augusta, on 200th Street, you'll find the newest haunted hayride in Central Minnesota - Harvest Of Horror. It opens this Friday night and runs through Halloween. I was able to get a sneak peek of what to expect!Jason Stock is the creator of the Harvest of Horror and says, "For many years I've heard that there aren't enough haunted hayrides in the area and I decided to do something about it". That's when he got the idea to use the land he purchased as the site for this attraction. Not only has he created a great destination for Halloween, he's allowing students to work in the attraction to earn money towards their various school trips. "From competition trips to training camps, these kids will be able to earn money that will make it easier for them to get there", says Jason.

Jason has carved out a path through the corn that will feature various scenes along the ride as well as surprises lurking in the rows of corn. Each wagon will hold about 50 people and the ride will last between 30 and 45 minutes. For $10 per person, this is a great way to get scared and do some good at the same time.

Let me tell you, just being in the middle of the corn field during the day time is eery - especially when the wind starts to kick up and rustle the leaves. Being out there at night with scary stuff jumping out at you is going to really get your heart racing!
