Who needs "The Voice" when you can audition for AARP's talent contest?

Well...not EVERYONE can audition for this one. It is a 50+ talent contest. There are a lot of talented people I know that are all over 50, and they have the years of experience to really deliver a great performance.

WHAT YOU'LL WIN

If you'd like your chance at winning $5000, you can submit a video of you singing a song by August 3rd. You do not have to be a singer. You do not have to have EVER been a performer. If you love to sing, just sing...You could win the grand prize of $5000.

It is a pretty simple process. Since I had a recording already, I just submitted a video that was similar to my audition for The Voice.

HOW TO ENTER

You must be 50 or older, but you do NOT need to be a member of AARP. Submit your entry soon as submissions end on August 3rd. However, it takes up to 3 days for them to accept your video submission to make sure it meets all the requirements of the contest. If it doesn't you'll be able to resubmit another entry if you have time.

What would you do with $5000? I'm not sure yet. That would be a really nice price though right? Once you submit your entry, you share the entry with your friends through email. 10 finalists will be selected and you'll be able to go back on August 7th to see if you are one of the finalists.

You can also vote for your favorite top 10 contestants, and each day that you vote, you will be entered for a chance to win $100 in the AARP Superstar 2020 Sweepstakes.
