Many people see Opossums and try to kill them. The reason? Anytime we see something that looks like a rodent, we feel that we have to kill it. But these animals are special to Minnesotans. The LOVE eating ticks and can eat up to 5000 in a season.

Plus, Opossums DO NOT contract or carry Lyme's disease, despite their tick diet. Most Opossums are also immune to rabies. These animals are your friend. Please spread the word. They'll make your environment a healthier one to live in.
