It's the 4th of July weekend and there's not a whole lot going on this year. Several area cities have canceled their freedom celebrations and festivities.

If you're stumped trying to figure out something to do with your friends and family, you might want to consider checking out a drive-in movie. Crossroads Center in St. Cloud has allowed part of their parking lot to be temporarily transformed into a drive-in theater. It's pretty neat, actually.

If you've driven past the mall on Third Street, you've probably noticed the giant screen. The pop up theater is owned by Cinema Pop-Ups based out of Chicago. They'll be in town through July 12.

So, you don't have to travel very far to experience a little bit of a blast from the past. If you've never been to a drive-in theater, it should be on your summer bucket list.
