New Telescopes For Checkout At Great River Library

Do you like stargazing? Well you're in luck!

The Great River Regional Library has just added 20 brand new Telescopes to their collection that will be available for checkout beginning on February 1st, 2019.

ORION STARBLAST REFLECTOR TELESCOPE IN BUFFALO

Since 2017, the  Great River Regional Library has had an Orion StarBlast Reflector telescope based in the Buffalo Library. The telescope has been very popular. Because of the popularity and interest in the telescope, the Rotary generously donated the funds needed to add more telescopes to the Great River Regional Library collection. How cool is that?

THE TELESCOPE PROJECT

The telescope project is part of the libraries “Try It Yourself” kit collection, which gives you the chance to try new activities and possibly create new hobbies for free with your library cards.

REQUESTS ARE BEING ACCEPTED NOW

Patrons are welcome to request a telescope now. Anyone with a GRRL card may check out a telescope. to request a telescope, visit the Great River Regional Library website by clicking HERE.
