My Favorite Christmas Memory Includes Making Fudge

As a kid I loved this time of year.  The anticipation of all those Christmas presents, Santa and of course, not having to go to school.  Some of my most favorite memories happened around this time of year and several of them include making food.

When I was a kid, I would spend time at my grandma's house during the summer and sometimes on longer school breaks.  I had so much fun and those times were some of the best of my life.

One year I stayed around Christmas and I helped my grandma make Rocky Road fudge.  Oh.my.gosh -- AMAZING!  It was so fun and now I'm trying to figure out how to replicate what we made.  Grandma would also make Christmas cookies and now that she's gone, my mom, my sister and I make them but it's just not quite the same.
