Minnesota’s Unemployment Rate Is Still 3.7 Percent

Even though employers cut 5,000 jobs, state officials say the unemployment rate in Minnesota is still at 3.7%.

Minnesota’s labor market remains on a growth track, with eight of the 11 major industrial businesses adding jobs over the past year.

Minnesota’s January unemployment rate of 3.7% was below the national rate of 4.9%.
