Minnesota’s National Guard Has Their 1st Woman General

Air Force Colonel Sandra Best was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General during a ceremony Thursday.

The Minneapolis native joined the 133rd Airlift Wing in 1984 and has served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
