Minnesota’s Most Popular Recipe Might Shock You

In Minnesota we're known for cooking up some good food. Some of our favorite dishes in the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' include; a good hotdish recipe, fish fry, meatloaf, anything you can cook in a crock pot and more hardy meals of the same sort.

However, according to Thrillist, our most Googled dish isn't anything mentioned above. It's actually a dessert recipe if you can believe it!

A new study found which recipe each state Googled the most. In Minnesota, we're in love with shortcake! Now, if you would have given me 100 guesses, I wouldn't have guessed that. However, is there anything better than a strawberry shortcake in the summer? Especially when you can get fresh strawberries at your local farmers market. It just tastes like summertime and sunshine!
