PERFECT FOR 'THE STATE OF HOCKEY'

It's perfect timing with our recent Minnesota win of the Walter Cup, as the girl in the story is originally from "The State of Hockey."  Riley Anderson is from Minnesota but moves to San Fransisco in the first film.

A MINNESOTA GIRL IN A BIG CITY

In this film, she is now a 13-year-old and attends a hockey camp, but she has to make the decision on whether or not she's going to hang out with her old friends or become a big hockey star and leave them all behind.

As you can imagine, all kinds of emotions step in to further get in the way, the emotions in her mind won't stop fighting.

A MINNESOTA VOICE IN THE FILM

What's so incredible for Minnesotans, is that Minnesota's Professional Womens Hockey Team Captain Kendall Coyne Schofield was contacted by Pixar to be the voice of a hockey announcer in the film.

She posted on Instagram that she had been to the opening nights of the film in two locations, including Chicago and Los Angeles, and stated that she couldn't wait for everyone to see the amazing movie.

GO SEE THE MOVIE!

All of the excitement around the movie is especially wonderful for Minnesotans and anyone else who is excited about the Professional Women's Hockey League, which has given hope to so many women and girls who love the sport of hockey and now have a chance to play as a pro.
