Can you imagine your entire home going up in flames? The Belair-Johnson family of seven from Zimmerman recently lived through the unthinkable; but are so thankful that everyone, including their pets, made it out alive.

The fire destroyed their home on the morning of March 25th, 2024. Their home was considered a complete loss. Not only did they lose their beloved home, but they also lost 3 vehicles, and all of their belongings, including clothing and cherished keepsakes.  Matt lost an older truck he had fixed up, Katie and Chris both lost their cars.

Both of the family's boys, Chris and Nathan, are current  Zimmerman Thunder football players and  ZimmermanThunder Wrestlers, and their family has been involved with both programs for over a decade.

The devastation comes as a complete shock. Luke Belair is organizing the GoFundMe page, and said that the funds will be directly deposited into an account specifically set up for the cause and given directly to the family. Luke said on the GoFundMe page, "Matt & Katie, Chris, Nate, Lucas, Nicole, & Michael will be the direct beneficiaries of all funds and will go towards daily living expenses, replacing vehicles, clothes, and other living necessities as the family begins the process of rebuilding their lives."

You can access the GoFundMe page by clicking HERE to show your support. Lucas is trying to raise $15,000 fo which approximately $11,000 has already been raised.
