Last Minute Minnesota Valentine’s Ideas You Can Make at Home
You only have a few days before your Valentine is going to feel forgotten. You have the ability right now to make sure that doesn't happen...But...don't be lame. Don't buy them a Hershey bar and call it good. Do something special. Here are some great ideas that you can buy if you have enough time, or just be creative and make some of these yourself!
CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES
Chocolate Covered strawberries are great! And....they really are easy to make. You might want to do a practice round before you make yours, but I've done this a million times and they are a great gift. You'll need to get strawberries, some microwaveable white and dark chocolate, some valentine sprinkles, and have a sandwich bag handy, so you can put the melted chocolate in the bag to decorate them. Really...it's not that hard...and it comes straight from your heart to theirs.

SOMETHING YOU CAN'T MAKE AT HOME...BUT WILL LIGHT UP THEIR HEART
Do you or your children have a friend that lives far away? How sweet is this. It's a friendship lamp. Get one for you and your special friend, and everytime one of you hits the light, the other one will light up; no matter where it is! I love it! They are a little pricey. I found this on Amazong for about $170.
NOTHING SAYS LOVE LIKE WAFFLES FOR BREAKFAST
My boys would prefer Star Wars shaped somethings for Valentine's Day breakfast, but hearts are good too. If you can't get the heart shaped waffle maker, you could always do it the old fashioned way...and use a knife to cut out a heart shape!
SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR THE STUDENT AWAY AT COLLEGE
For your wonderful college student, far away from home, you can send them a gift box full of everything they need for a fun night alone or with friends for door room movie party. Candy, popcorn, maybe even send their favorite movies along! But you better get cracking, because you're running out of time!
