Last Chair Alert: Powder Ridge Says Goodbye Until Next Winter
A local ski hill has closed for the season, thanks to above-average temperatures and rain. Powder Ridge announced on social media that it would be done for the season.
The Kimball-based ski hill announced the season closure Saturday afternoon via its social media.

The closure comes after days of persistently above average temperatures and a rain storm that soaked the area Friday night.
According to an ski website there are still a handful of ski hills and resorts open, even Buck Hill in Burnsville is still snow covered and was packing in the skiers this weekend.
The ski/snowboard season won't have much longer left for fans of the sport, many resorts will be closed by the end of March or early April and then are getting ready to turn over for mountain biking season, for those hills that operate year round.
