Kenny Chesney Postponing US Bank Stadium Show to 2021
US Bank Stadium has had a busy day with concert postponements. First was George Strait this morning, and now Kenny Chesney made an announcement this afternoon.
In a post US Bank Stadium shared:
Kenny Chesney has postponed his 2020 Chillaxification Tour show at U.S. Bank Stadium until 2021. New dates coming soon. Existing tickets will be honored for the new dates. Refunds available at original point of purchase for 30 days after the new date announcement.
Kenny's team was hopeful that they would be playing shows later in 2020, but it looks like they have made the decision that it would be best just to push the tour out a year. The Chillaxification Tour featured Kenny along with Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, and Michael Franti & Spearhead.
In a Tweet on his account, Kenny said:
When we postponed our first wave of shows, no one imagined we’d be here today. Still wondering, still uncertain. And I still will not take chances with people I care about.
Tickets for the US Bank Stadium show that was originally set for May will still be honored at the new date in 2021, the official date of that show coming soon.
