Kelly’s Secret Life: It’s All About The Music

MUSIC IS MY LIFE

Ever since I was about 10 years old, I've loved singing. I begged my parents for a piano for years. They got me a little tiny organ, then finally when I was 13, they bought a really old, standup piano for $100. I played it so much they had to move it into my bedroom as I just couldn't stop playing. Now I get to play music all morning on 98.1 Minnesota's New Country with my Co Host Pete Hanson, and sing and play piano most weekends at nearby locations.

LOCAL APPEARANCES

I perform with lots of different groups these days, as well as some solo performances. Tonight I'll be performing with FASTTRACK, a bunch of great guys that treat me like royalty; at one of my favorite local bars; The Hide Away in Rockville. We'll be playing there tonight from 8:30 to 12:30. Fleetwood Mac, Motley Crew, Metallica, Doobie brothers, Journey along with country artists like Shania Twain, Luke Combs, and Sugarland.

Next Friday, I'll be playing with POWER CORDES, which is my Nephew Brody, sometimes my sons, and myself playing acoustic and piano songs for your Valentine's day dinner from 6:30-9:30 at Molitor's Quarry in Sauk Rapids. We play hits from Billy Joel, Richard Marx, Ingred Andress, Train, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash and more.

I'm super excited to have the opportunity to be singing with a fantastic Beatles Tribute Band at the Paramount, on Saturday February 29th, Called Revolution 5.  I'll be introducing the band, and then have a couple special songs I'll be performing and I can't wait!
