Overall we've had a pretty hot, humid, and dry summer in Minnesota. You know who predicted that correctly? The Old Farmer's Alamanc. I'm not sure how they do it but their predictions are always so good. And now their predictions for this fall are out.

I'm a big fan of summer and I always have a hard time deciding if summer or fall is my favorite season. The warmth and sunny days are awesome in the summer but there can be those oppressively hot days too. In the fall the temperate is cool enough for a sweater but not so cold you need a jacket. Plus the fall colors are amazing. But fall also signifies that winter is coming which makes me sad.

Old Farmer's Almanac Fall 2023 Predictions

Across the country, the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a warmer-than-average fall with either average or below-average precipitation depending on what part of the country you're looking at.

As for Minnesota, we're looking at above-average temperatures, just like most of the rest of the country. So yes, the warmer temperatures will continue beyond summer.

And our precipitation for this fall in Minnesota is actually predicted to be average, which I'm totally ok with! Above-average, while probably needed, would make fall a little gloomy. And below-average would be concerning.

While I'm sad to see summer go in the next month or so, I'm excited for sweaters, warm drinks, and colorful trees!
