30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT?

Recently, people have been posting on social media signs at Fast Food restaurants around the country imposing 30-minute time limits for diners. Have you seen any restaurants in Minnesota doing this yet, and if not will it be coming to Minnesota?

It doesn't sound very "Minnesota Nice" to set a time limit on your diners. How often do you go out to just meet a friend in a public place, and buy breakfast, lunch or dinner, just so you can enjoy some time with a friend in a location that works for both of you? Now I feel a bit bad for hanging out so long. But I usually visit that location time and time again, because now I've created memories. Isn't this a good thing?

MINNESOTA NICE?

Would it bother you if you walked in and saw a 30-minute time limit posted on the door? If I was an employee of the restaurant, am I the person who needs to go to the table of loitering customers and ask them to leave because they have exceeded their time limit?

I think for as long as I can remember, I've been meeting my friends in restaurants and hanging out for a good hour and a half.

TIME AND PLACE

Probably the biggest issue is; that there is probably a time and place for hanging out and keeping a table from someone who really needs to sit down and have a break. I can understand if there are so many people in your restaurant that you need more places to sit, but I mostly see that in coffee shops and local restaurants. The article said it was mostly because of teenagers using the locations as a hangout.

WILL MINNESOTA FAST FOOD FEEL THE NEED TO BRING IN THE TIME LIMIT?

Do you think we will have this coming to central Minnesota anytime soon? Have you seen these signs around our state already? Do you agree with the 30-minute time limit? Perhaps it's something that will only be enforced if they are extremely busy.
