Do you love kittens? Do you love kittens that grow into beautiful cats? That's a good thing! Because it's kitten season, and Tri County Humane Society is celebrating by having a Kitten Shower on Saturday, May 18th from 1-3 pm to support its busy Foster Care program.

The event, which will be at the TCHS Training Facility behind the shelter, will feature kittens for attendees to cuddle with as well as shower games, a presentation on bottle babies, and much more.

Admission to the shower is $1 per person or an item from the shelter's wish list for the foster program. Among those items are kitten milk replacer, non clumping cat litter, and high quality cat and kitten food.

Kittens were the most popular animal at TCHS in 2018.  The shelter took in more than 1200 kittens last year. Kitten season is one of the busiest times of the year for TCHS staff and volunteers. 900 cats and kittens were placed in Foster care in 2018.
