This past weekend my wife and I made popcorn and it sparked the debate on what popcorn looks like when it pops. We looked it up and it's fascinating!

When you make a pot of popcorn, it's so cool to see it popping, but it's not easy to see the moment it goes from just a kernel to a full-blown piece of nummy popcorn. Once the kernel reaches a certain temp it's like a car airbag explosion.
