Here’s JJ! Watch This Minnesota Artist Create Phenomenal NFL Artwork
A Minnesota artist will be getting his latest piece of artwork signed by an NFL record-holder, but what's most impressive is how this artist creates his art. Artist Ben Labuzzetta records himself painting, and viewers get to watch him transform a simple number '18' into a piece of art, worthy of a gallery hanging.
Ben Labuzzetta who hails from Wisconsin originally but now lives in Minnesota's capital city, has been filming his painting for the last few months, and his latest piece, a painting of Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, is going to be signed by the NFL record-setter according to a reel put out by the artist.
What I am most impressed with is Ben's technique and ability to create such realistic images on canvas. Every time I see the finished product, I feel like JJ is about to leap out of the painting and onto the ground.
What's unique about his art is that it features raised numbers, think jersey numbers, car numbers, etc, with hand-painted images inside the numbers, if you look back at some of Ben's highlights on Facebook Reels you'll see soccer players, and basketball players, and of course NFL players being highlighted by Ben.
I'm a little biased being a native Minnesotan, but I really liked his Anthony Edwards painting and of course his latest piece the Justin Jefferson painting.
You can see a complete listing of his numbers work, as well as other work on Ben's website, where you can even buy a painting or a limited print, by heading here.
