Great Fishing Weekend at Lake of the Woods [Gallery]

I spent this past weekend with eleven other guys in my family fishing in the Lake of the Woods. Dad, uncles, cousins, brother & brother-in-law, and nephews (and lots of walleye, saugers, northern, and perch).

We all originally hail from the Twin Cities, but now we're scattered across Minnesota, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, and Montana -- so we ate, drank, fished, caught up, and came home with our limit of walleyes.

The 34" northern was a personal 'biggest fish.' Loved that my 8 year-old nephew Jack reeled one in the exact same size. I'd love to share more but I gotta go fry up some walleye.
