Following Governor Walz's announcement that the state would be rolling back many COVID-19 restrictions effective today, the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota Timberwolves announced that a limited number of fans will be allowed at home games beginning next month.

The Twins home opener at Target Field is April 8th against the Seattle Mariners. The first Wild game with fans at the Xcel Energy Center will be on April 5th against the Colorado Avalanche. Also on April 5th, the Timberwolves will welcome a limited number of fans to Target Center for their game against the Sacramento Kings.

Our singular focus remains on the health, safety and well-being of every person that enters Target Field; to that end, we are currently reviewing the new guidance to ensure our comprehensive re-opening plan adheres to all MDH and Minneapolis Health Department directives. We will announce next steps, including our full ballpark protocols and ticket plans, in the very near future.

All Twins, Wild, and Timberwolves fans will be required to wear masks, and social distancing protocols will be in place.

More information is expected soon regarding ticket sales, but the teams say the initial rollout will focus on season ticket holders.
