Duluth-Made Horror Movie is Now Streaming For Free on Tubi TV
If you like your horror flicks to hit a little closer to home than Texas with their chainsaws, then you're in luck!
A horror movie that was shot in the woods around Duluth, Minnesota, in 2021 is now streaming for free!
Duluth-Made Horror Movie 'Beyond the North Woods' Now Streaming
The synopsis of Beyond the North Woods: "A Logan Paul style YouTuber is guided through a small town's woods to make a video about recent unsolved disappearances. The group questions their sanity as the weather drastically changes and a mind-bending threat stalks them."
Weather drastically changing? Yup, sounds like Duluth.
The movie stars Matt Rasmussen as Elijah, Henriette Soderlind as Angela, and Lance Todd as Paul. Lance Todd also wrote and directed the movie, which was filmed in a "found footage" style à la "The Blair Witch Project".
Todd calls Beyond the North Woods "a horror movie about making content".
Beyond the North Woods is now streaming on the free Tubi TV app. If Tubi isn't your thing, Todd says that the movie is also streaming on the Kings of Horror YouTube channel.
Beyond the North Woods won "Best Feature Film" at the Roswell Sci Fi Film Festival, as well as the "Northland Filmmaker Award" at the Minnesota Film Festival.
