Create Your Own Remote Control Car At This Minnesota Business
Newsflash, there’s 56 days until Christmas! That means there’s only eight Friday’s between today and the big day. Have you started your shopping yet?
I came across a business at Mall of America this week that I thought was really cool.
One thing I’ve discovered is that a lot of folks who live in Central Minnesota haven’t been to the mall in Bloomington in quite a while, so maybe you missed this store.
It’s called Ridemakerz. It is one of 6 stores nationwide where you can make memories with your family while designing your own “ride”, meaning remote control car.
First you pick which vehicle body you want to have. Then you’ll choose the chassis you want. Once you’ve done that, then you head to the custom pit area and begin to build your vehicle.
They have the tools you need and the staff can answer any questions you might have and even lend a helping hand if it’s needed.
After that, you pick out your tires, wheels and accessories that you want to dress up your vehicle with. I was impressed with the number of choices Ridemakerz has available. And I’m not just talking about the body styles they offer. There are a ton of accessories available too.
Everything at the store inside Mall of America was labeled clearly and the staff was very accessible and helpful in answering my questions.
I didn’t have time to build my own car when we were there on Monday, but I’m thinking this might be a fun thing for my wife and I to do together. Our apartment building has long hallways we could use to drive our cars during the winter, and then there are plenty of places during the warmer months to go for a spin outside.
So, if you’re looking for a gift for someone that you want to be a little extra special, check out Ridemakerz at Mall of America, or you can order online at Ridemakerz.com.
