“Country Strong” In Theaters Friday

The all star cast includes Tim McGraw, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Meester, and Garrett Hedlund.

Tim plays the husband and manager to Paltrows character who has a dwindling career in country music. Hedlund plays a rising songwriter , and Meester a beauty-queen turned singer.

I'm really excited to see this movie!

Tim McGraw is definitely a country music star first but his acting skills are pretty dang good if you ask me. On the other hand Leighton Meester and Gwyneth Paltrow  have spent plenty of time in front of the camera and not so much behind the microphone. Clearly Gwyneth proved herself as a singer at the CMA awards this year, but I'm interested to see if Leighton can pull it off just as well.
