Clearwater Lights Show is Back For 2018 Starting Thanksgiving Night
George Simmons is the mastermind behind the impressive light display in Clearwater, Minnesota. Clearwater Lights is a free holiday light show that has been entertaining families for years. After a break in 2017 due to a heart attack, George is back and ready for the 2018 holiday season and we couldn't be more excited.
Here is how it works:
1. Drive by the house on Main Street in Clearwater. Directions can be found here.
2. Tune your radio to 97.3 FM.
3. Watch the lights dance along with the music, and feel your soul fill with holiday cheer!
New this year kids can leave a letter to Santa in the house's mailbox, and Santa will write your kids a letter back in the mail. How's that for some holiday magic?
George does all of this out of the kindness of his heart. He takes in no money for this, but if you feel compelled, you can leave money in the mailbox and George will donate it to the Clearwater Food Shelf.
Clearwater Lights starts the night of Thanksgiving and runs through Dec. 31st 2018. Visit their website here!
